Meet Patrick Rasmussen, Founder

Patrick's journey in construction began in 1971, working alongside his father on home remodeling projects. By age 19, he had earned his contractor's license in Washington State, marking the beginning of a remarkable career spanning over four decades.

His hands-on experience includes building his first log home in 1976, and since then, he has owned and operated multiple construction-related companies including a custom cabinet company, painting company, and residential remodeling and design firm.

Patrick has built or helped build homes of all types and sizes, gaining invaluable experience that shapes every project Design 2 Build Homes undertakes today. His expertise spans traditional wood frame, steel frame, concrete construction, log homes, timber frame, and contemporary designs.

For the past nine years, Patrick has focused on building Design 2 Build Homes LLC into a leading home design company serving families nationwide with unmatched expertise and personal attention to every project.
